First Year Law Students’ Examination Requirement
The State Bar of California requires that to earn a Juris Doctorate Degree, students must pass the First-Year Law Students’ Examination (FYLSE) given after completion of the first year of law school.
In order to continue at the California School of Law, all students are required to take and pass the FYLSE.
