The California School of Law is a part time law school, classes meet Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00pm to 9:00pm PST. Each class session is 1 1/2 hours.
The California School of Law is on a trimester system. Each trimester lasts four months, equivalent to a traditional law school semester. Classes meet 30 times in each course, per trimester, with mid-terms and a final exam. Class time is only a portion of the study time required to earn a Juris Doctorate.
It takes 4 years to receive a Juris Doctorate degree at the California School of Law. A typical class schedule for the four years is set out below.

Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate from the California School of Law and receive a Juris Doctorate degree, students must have a minimum of 864 hours of study over 48 to 52 consecutive weeks a year for 4 years. Students must also pass the First Year Law Students' Exam.
