Admission Standards
The California School of Law is interested in students who want to become successful lawyers and are willing to work hard to receive a Juris Doctor Degree. If you would like the California School of Law to determine if you are qualified for admissions, please complete our Admissions Evaluation Form.
NO LSAT Required.
Applicants with a Bachelors Degree
Applicants with a Bachelors Degree from an accredited College or University, with a GPA of 2.0 meet the law school admission standards and are eligible for admission.
Applicants with a Associates Degree
Applicants with a Associates Degree from an accredited College or University, with a GPA of 2.0 meet the law school admission standards and are eligible for admission.
Exceptions for Applicants Without a Bachelors Degree
Applicants with 60 college units from an accredited College or University, with a GPA of 2.0 meet the law school admission standards and are eligible for admission.
Applicants with a Masters Degree
Applicants with a Master’s Degree from an accredited U.S. College or University, with a GPA of 2.0 meet the law school admission standards and are eligible for admission. Applicants without a Bachelor’s Degree but with a Masters are eligible for admission. Applicants with a foreign Bachelor’s Degree but a US Masters are not required to submit Bachelors transcripts.
Transcripts
Applicants are required to submit official transcripts including transfer credits to the law school within 45 days after your start date.
If you are using LSAC transcript service, and your transcripts are on file with LSAC provide your LSAC# on the application and California School of Law will request your transcripts.

International Admission Standards
International Students are welcome to enroll at the California Law School. Only Applicants with a non-U.S. college degree are considered International Students. Applicants with a degree from a U.S. College or University, but living outside the U.S. are not considered international students.
Applicants with a Masters Degree from an accredited U.S. College or University meet our law school admission standards and can be admitted without an undergraduate transcript evaluation. The Law School does not offer instruction in languages other than English. Students must satisfactorily speak and write English.
The international students' transcripts will be evaluated by an independent agency to ascertain whether or not the transcripts indicate an education equivalent to a college education in the United States.
